Ms. Ronda Lane is a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant with over 30 years experience in the dental profession, primarily in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. She is a Past President of the Texas Dental Assistants Association (TDAA). She received her BS in Allied Health Education from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas in 1982. She has a deep desire for knowledge, and continues to devote herself to life long education in the field of dental assisting and enhancing the careers of dental assistants toward the highest standards of performance obtainable through quality continuing education.
Ms. Joanne Wineinger has been a Dental Assistant for over 50 years, was a DANB Certified Dental Assistant for 33 continuous years and she has served as President for Texas Dental Assistants Association (TDAA) twice (2002 and 2006) and is currently serving as Trustee for the American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA). She received her Texas RDA Credential in 2004. As a TDAA representative and TSBDE Liaison, she has spent twelve (12) years monitoring changes in Texas Law and TSBDE Rules relating to Dental Assistants.
This comprehensive course will feature didactic information and demonstrations
streamlined towards successful passage of the exam, using the Objectives set
forth by the State Board of Dental Examiners:

Attendees will receive:

The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners,
Easy to
follow illustrated resource materials in all three (3) subjects,
Opportunity for a question and answer session,
A
proctored exit examination in all three (3) subjects upon completion of the
course, and
Within
thirty (30) days, each participant will receive a pass or failure notification.
Those that pass, should copy the Certificate
of Completion and make application to SBDE for Dental Assistant Registration. A
participant, who receives a failure notification, may retake the examination.

Registration is at 8:00 a.m.; Doors will be closed at 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This two (2) day course is $225.00. Participants MUST bring: A Photo ID, along with pens, highlighters, note paper and study materials. Additional study materials can be purchased for $20.00 (1 copy each of all 3 topics).
TDAA's
Exam Policy:
Participants MUST attend both days of the course. Participants may retake
the examination up to one (1) time ($30.00) at the convenience of TDAA.
If the participant does not successfully pass after the second (2nd)
try, the course MUST be retaken. NO
PERSONAL CHECKS will be accepted.
Registration Deadline:
REGISTER EARLY for attendance is limited. The deadline for registration is: March 19, 2012. Confirmation and Study Materials will be sent to those who have an E-mail address and register by the deadline. And, BRING STUDY MATERIALS TO THE COURSE.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
Cancellation/Refund Deadline is: March 19, 2012. Send written request for cancellation or refund to: Texas Dental Assistants Association (TDAA) 1091 Roaring Springs Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76114. No refunds will be given after the stated deadline without the approval of TDAA Board of Directors. Refunds will be processed three weeks after the program date, but subject to a 25% administrative fee.
