Ronda Lane
has been a Certified Dental Assistant for over 25 years and is a Past-President
of the Texas Dental Assistants Association (TDAA). She received her Texas RDA
Credential in 2004 and her Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Education
from University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas, in 1982.
Ms.
Joanne Wineinger
has been a Dental Assistant for 51 years, was a Dental Assisting National Board
(DANB) Certified Dental Assistant for 33 continuous years and is a
Past-President of the Texas Dental Assistants Association (TDAA). She
received her Texas RDA Credential in 2004. As TDAA Past-President
and the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners' (TSBDE) Liaison, she has spent
eight (8) years monitoring changes in Texas Law and TSBDE Rules relating to
Dental Assistants.
This
comprehensive course will feature didactic information and demonstrations
streamlined towards successful passage of the exam, using the Objectives set
forth by the State Board of Dental Examiners: SBDE
Rule 114.22.
Attendees
will receive:
A Course & Examination Approved by The Texas State Board of Dental
Examiners,
Easy
to follow illustrated resource materials in all three (3) subjects,
Opportunity for a
question and answer session,
A proctored exit examination in all
three (3) subjects upon completion of the course, and
Within thirty (30) days, each participant will receive a pass or failure
notification. Those that pass, should copy the notification cover letter,
copy the Certificate of Completion and make application to SBDE for Dental
Assistant Registration. A participant, who receives a failure
notification, may retake the examination. [See Exam Policy below].

Registration
is at 8:00 a.m.; Doors will be closed at 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This
two (2) day course is $225.00,
which includes printed materials and the Examination. Participants MUST
bring: A Photo ID, along with pens, highlighters, and notepaper.
TDAA's
Exam Policy:
Participants MUST attend both days of the course. Participants may retake
the examination up to one (1) time ($30.00) at the convenience of TDAA.
If the participant does not successfully pass after the second (2nd)
try, the course MUST be retaken. NO
PERSONAL CHECKS will be accepted.
Registration
Deadline:
REGISTER
EARLY for attendance is limited. The deadline for registration is September
8, 2008.
Confirmation and Study Materials will be sent to those who have an E-mail
address and register by the deadline.
Cancellation/Refund
Policy:
Cancellation/Refund
Deadline is: September
8, 2008. Send
written request for cancellation or refund to: Dallas County Dental Assistants
Society, 2557 Brandywine Dr., Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. No refunds will be given after the stated deadline without
the approval of TDAA Board of Directors. Refunds
will be processed three weeks after the program date, but subject to a 25%
administrative fee.
Examination
results will be mailed within thirty (30) days of the exam.
